At All Saints, every child is a beloved child of God and a vital part of our faith community. We are committed to walking with families of children with special needs, ensuring they are fully supported and included in their faith formation journey.
Our approach is inclusive. Children with special needs participate in our regular Religious Education classes with the support of a 1:1 assistant, when needed. These assistants provide individualized guidance and modifications to help each child engage meaningfully with the lessons.
We also offer adapted sacramental preparation resources to support children as they prepare to receive the Sacraments in a way that honors their unique needs and abilities.
While our catechists are not formally certified in special education, they serve with hearts full of compassion, patience, and a deep love for sharing the faith. We are always happy to collaborate with parents to provide the best possible experience for their children.
