Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway tot life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives acess to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Chruch and made shareers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water and in the word."

What are the requirements for parents?
We invite you to contact us even before your child is born and to plan in advance as our Baptismal Formation Session are offered every other month.
What are the requirements for godparents (sponsors)?
When and where is the Baptism celebrated?
We encourage parents and godparents to celebrate the baptism of their children during Mass with the entire community of All Saints. As a parish family we look forward to being there with you at this important moment in your life.
Baptism - together with Eucharist and Confirmation - is one of the Sacraments of Initiation. It is communal by nature. In some circumstances baptisms are celebrated outside of Mass.
Above all we wish you to remember that Baptism is not an isolated event; it is an expression of your faith and a commitment on your part to raise your child in a Catholic family and a Christian community. The focus is as much on you as it is on the child. Through the communal celebration of infant baptism, All Saints expresses its joy in welcoming a new member as well as its commitment to provide support and a community of faith for you and your child as you undertake the mission of living as a Catholic family.
